Paintings done on comission

If you have a great shot of you surfing, or want a painting of your favorite spot, let me know. I usually work from photos, and if you send me one of yours, it will be returned to you is as good condition as when you gave it to me. Or, if you would like me to have a photo session with you, in or out of the water, I charge $195. The photo session lasts as long as it takes to get some shots we both agree on to get a great painting..

*my frames are solid pine, and paintings will be double matted to match the colors of the painting, and under plexiglass. All materials are archival

 

	"Home" I usually don't paint scenes like this, but I think the painting worked out great. But, credit for this one is due to the beautiful yard more than to my painting abilities. I have no idea what these plants were called, but they are really beautiful.
	"The Morgans" I was comissioned to do a portrait of a couple that would resemble my painting called Between Sets. We waited until the water was really clear, and I took about 80 shots of them. This is the one that worked out the best. I like the colors a lot.
	"Mountain Bikes" This was comissioned by the person on the right to give to the other two as a wedding present. What a good gift. Way better than a toaster. It is a gift that will last their whole lives. I hope. I was glad to be a part of the ocassion.
	"Waters Edge" I loved the way this painting turned out. I am always a little nervous to do comissions, because I want the client to love the image I am painting, and I am never sure what they will think when I am done. But I was proud of this one, and felt good about sending it off. Plus, it is the kind of scene I love to paint.
